Gestern Abend haben die Ratsmitglieder der Stadt Bad Laasphe ihren Beitrag zum BürgerBus geleistet. Nach Vereinsgründung Ende Oktober und Vereinseintragung war die Bürgschaft auf der gestrigen Ratssitzung ein weiterer Baustein. In der letzten Woche hatten die BürgerBus-Fahrer, von denen es bis heute 15 gibt, nicht mehr benötigte Haltestellenschilder in anderen Kommunen demontiert und die Fahrstrecke für den BürgerBus erarbeitet. ‚Nun kann in dieser Woche noch mit den Verkehrsbetrieben-Westfalen-Süd verhandelt werden‘, so Achim Walder, Vorsitzender. Das Fahrzeug ist auch schon ausgesucht, es hat 8 Einzelsitze, eine elektrische Schwenktür und eine zusätzliche Trittstufe für bequemes Einsteigen. Das Fahrzeug wird von den VWS nach Wunsch des Vereins bestellt. Das Land NRW zahlt dafür einen Zuschuss von 60.000 DM. In Verhandlungen mit den VWS muss nun noch ein Kooperationsvertrag mit dem Linienweg, vier Linien sind geplant: BBL1: Zentrum – Niederlaasphe – Puderbach, BBL2: Zentrum – Am Feldberg – Galgenberg – Lehrberg, BBL3: Zentrum – Wasserstr. – Schloßstr. – Wilhelmstr. – Schuleborn, BBL4: Zentrum – Friedrichshütte – Vor den Hasseln – Gennernbach, und den Fahrpreisen geschlossen werden. ‚Die BürgerBus-Fahrer müssen noch zur ärztlichen Untersuchung und dann warten wir auf das neue BürgerBus-Fahrzeug. Wenn alles gut geht, können wir im April 2001 als zweiter BürgerBus in Siegen-Wittgenstein starten‘, so Walder.
